What is an escape room?
An escape room is a game where you look for clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks within a set amount of time in order to progress through the story and ultimately breakout from the room.

Will I get locked inside the room?
Nope. Unlike traditional escape rooms, at Enigma you are able to venture outside the room.

How do I book a game?
You may book online through our website or come visit us at our place in Napier and we will help you get sorted out.

What are your payment options?
We accept most major credit card providers such as Visa and Mastercard.

On what days are you open?
We are open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 8 PM.

How many people can a single room accomodate?
It differs per room. Wizard Express and Orient Express can accommodate up to 7 people while Gemini Killer can accommodate up to 6 people. All rooms are playable by 1 person.

How much does it cost?
It differs per room. Wizard Express costs $29 per adult and $27 per child while Gemini Killer costs $35 per person.

Do you accept corporate/group/party bookings?
Yes, we do. You can contact us for such occassions. Head on over to our Events section for more details.

Is there any age requirement in order to play a game?
There is none. All are welcome to play. But children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by their parents or a legal-and-of-age guardian.

How long does each game last?
It differs per room. Wizard Express takes at most 1 hour to complete while Gemini Killer lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

What happens if I get stuck and cannot figure out a puzzle?
You can approach the game master and he/she will come and give you a clue.

Is there any dress code that must be followed?
There is none but we suggest that you come in your most comfortable clothes.

Can I take pictures while inside the escape room?
You may take pictures after playing but not during the game so as not to spoil the experience of those who have not yet played.
